Nexus 4 Spotted Running Android 4.2.2 Again, But In Video This Time

Last week we saw a few reports surrounding new batches of Nexus 4 shipping with Android 4.2.2 loaded on the device as opposed to the usual Android 4.2.1. The Nexus 4 device running Android 4.2.2 was spotted in Brazil at a LG mobile phone factory that prepares the handsets for shipment.

The latest report reveals video proof of a Nexus 4 running Android 4.2.2 somewhere in the Czech Republic. The video shows proof of the Nexus 4 on this latest firmware version, which indicates that Nexus 4 devices worldwide should be receiving Android 4.2.2 by the time consumers get a hold of a Nexus 4 device running Android 4.2.2.

The new update seems rather minor, as the video review shows no differences from any other Nexus 4 device. The only thing that indicates that the Nexus 4 is running on Android 4.2.2 is at the 6:34 mark where the reviewer shows the Android version.

Regardless, it’s obvious that this Nexus 4 is running Android 4.2.2. Now the big question is, when will owners of the device receive the update all over the world? Hopefully sooner than later.

In other news, those who haven’t gotten their Nexus 4 yet may want to look T-Mobile’s way, as some of their brick and mortar stores will receive limited Nexus 4 stock by the end of January. While no exact arrival date was given, we’ve seen leaked images showing that stock is indeed on its way to some T-Mobile stores.
