BlackBerry 10 may be released in Canadan on February 5th

BlackBerry Z10 with iPhone 5

There has been a long wait for the new BlackBerry 10 across the world. But it looks like the wait is coming to an end soon. We have been reading a lot of rumors about the launch of the new operating system from the Canadian company along with some really cool hardware. But I guess, this particular rumor will bring smiles on many faces as this one says that the carriers in Canada may release BlackBerry 10 smart phones as soon as Feb. 5. The carriers in question are Telus and Bell.

I know that a lot of you will be waiting for Rogers to release BlackBerry 10 devices, but that is not yet confirmed officially. Although, the wireless carrier may announce the release of the BlackBerry Z10 smart phone soon after Telus and Bell announce their offers.

BlackBerry Z10 is the first smart phone coming out to the market with the latest BlackBerry 10 operating system. The Canadian company, Research in Motion (RIM), is hoping that this is the break it needs to stop it from going into oblivion.

And for people waiting for the new operating system in the United States, you will have to wait for a bit longer, as there are no official words from any of the four major wireless carriers or RIM itself about the launch of the devices with BlackBerry 10 in the US any time soon. Also, the month of February may bring at least the BlackBerry Z10 device into the US on at least one carrier. The January 30 event is expected to give a lot of info about the new venture, for example, the wireless carriers in the United States with which RIM is partnering to launch the new BlackBerry 10 in the United States, how much the smart phone will cost on and off carriers, and much more.

And in case you do not like the design of the BlackBerry Z10 and want the old QWERTY feeling that BlackBerry was once famous for, you can wait for the BlackBerry X10 which is expected to come with a square touch screen and a QWERTY keypad, just like old times.
