Skype Offering Users Free One Month Premium Service

In the spirit of the holiday season Skype is running a limited time offer that will surely become popular. Subscribers to their service will be given a free one months’ worth of premium service. This will allow anyone to make unlimited calls to any phone number around the world. The offer is hard to refuse as phone calls are expected to peak this season as people try to connect with families and friends.

There is a catch to this though which you should be aware of. If you fail to cancel your premium subscription after the 30 day period you will be charged $9.99 a month for the service. If you don’t want to pay for this service then you should cancel it before the 30 day period. Alternatively, you can also cancel it right after you subscribe to it since you will still be able to enjoy the free service for the full term.

This offer is available worldwide with the exception of China, Taiwan and South Korea. To avail of this you have to head out to their website using your PC. You will be presented with the welcome screen where the details of the promo are discussed. You will then have to sign in to your existing account or create one if you don’t have one yet. Once logged into your account you will be asked for your payment details. You can use MasterCard, Visa, PayPal or Diners. As soon as you have completed the payment details you are all set.

The great thing about using Skype is that it isn’t limited to the PC. If you have an Android device then you can download the app and make free calls worldwide. Just make sure to use a Wi-Fi connection since you might be charged extra if you use the data services of your carrier network.
