Verizon Motorola Droid RAZR M price dropped, avail now for $50 with contract

Motorola’s latest model that is currently being offered exclusively by Verizon, Droid RAZR M (model XT907), can now be owned for just $50, or half its original price. US carrier Verizon dropped its price couple of days ago in a bid to attract new customers who may now be shopping for great devices for the holidays. This deal, however, may be perfect for people who don’t mind having to sign a two-year contract with the provider.

Verizon started offering Motorola Droid RAZR M on September 10th for $99. It received good reviews and ratings due to its performance and the fact that it was released with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean running on a dual-core processor. Basically, the device has decent specs and probably the kind of Android smartphone people might get especially those who are not into high-end devices.

For people who might not be familiar with this device, it comes with a 4.3-inch screen sporting Super AMOLED Advanced display panel that supports multi-touch. It was setup to provide 540 x 960 pixels resolution or approximately 256ppi pixel density. In short, Motorola has taken advantage of Adreno 225 graphics processor to be able to offer better and brighter display, although it eats up power faster. The manufacturer, however, countered it by giving Droid RAZR M with 2000mAh battery pack.

It also has 8-megapixel camera sensor and could snap photos with good resolution and record full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) videos. All these are complemented with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory, plus a microSD card slot that can support up to 32GB external memory. Above all, Motorola Droid RAZR M is designed to bring to Verizon customers the power of 4G LTE connectivity. This is one of the reasons why the provider promotes it as much as possible.

For a device with this caliber, the $50 deal is good enough. If you are interested in owning this phone, you can visit at any Verizon retail stores or head to to purchase online.
