Top Three Cases For Your iPhone 5

The one disadvantage the iPhone has over a lot of Android devices is the fact that the device does not have Corning’s Gorilla Glass. That said, it can break easier when you accidentally drop it on the ground. Accidents happen, and your bound to drop your phone at least once. It only takes one drop to break your screen, and you should want some protection to prevent that from happening. Check out this list of cases to keep your iPhone protected below.

LifeProof Waterproof Case

We’ve all had water accidents, especially with our electronics. So, a waterproof case might be something you want to look into. Maybe you even want to take your smartphone swimming or diving with you (I can guarantee you won’t be making calls under water). This case will keep your iPhone protected regardless of what water it gets doused in. This case also comes in a variety of different colors. The LifeProof Waterproof Case sits at $79.99. A lot of money, but well worth it if you spend a lot of time in the water. And who knows, maybe you can get some cool under water photos with this case as well?

Otterbox Commuter Case

The Otterbox Commuter case is one of the best cases out there in terms of durability. I haven’t seen anything that has been able to surpass how much protection this particular case offers. While it is a bit bulky and you won’t get to show off your snazzy iPhone to the world, it will ensure that your device stays far away from harms way. I’ve had countless people tell me this is one of the best cases they’ve ever used, and after seeing it for myself, your phone is definitely not going to break with this bad boy on. Keep in mind that there is another series called the Defender series that is said to offer a bit more protection than this as well. I’m not sure how protected your phone needs to be, but for now, the Commuter does the trick.

Griffin Survivor

Now this is an interesting case. The Griffin Survivor is tested to make sure that it lives up to the standards that the United States Department of Defense uses for their military equipment. In other words, this case is top-notch quality and quite durable. It runs at $50 A bit more expensive than the Otterbox Commuter, but a whole lot less expensive than the Lifeproof Waterproof case. If you plan on taking your iPhone 5 into the frontlines of combat, the Griffin Survivor will keep it safe from vibration, shock, rain, dirt, sand and more. Who knows, maybe the case could even take a bullet or two before hitting your iPhone? Highly unlikely, but if you want some supreme protection, the Griffin Survivor case is something that you should look into.
