T-Mobile Samsung sale confirmed

It was previously rumored that T-Mobile will be having a two-day Samsung sale taking place on November 16th and 17th, and T-Mobile confirmed last night that the rumor is indeed true and the sale will go live this weekend.

Most of the desirable Samsung devices are included in the sale, however, if you are looking to grab the recently launched Galaxy Note II under the offer, you won’t be able to because the device is not included in the offer. Galaxy Note II doesn’t seem to be a part of this sale for some reason, but of course T-Mobile has the right to decide which devices will go on sale.

T-Mobile’s Samsung sale will be taking place on Friday and Saturday and is called as a two-day “pre-holiday” event.
Here’s an excerpt from the press release:

“If getting a great deal on your gift purchases is important, and you prefer to limit your time in holiday checkout lines, then this T-Mobile promotional offer could be for you,” said Andrew Sherrard, senior vice president of marketing, T-Mobile USA. “We think this offer will be particularly attractive for families who would like every member to have a mobile device but don’t think it fits their budget. This promotion will make it easier for consumers to join the smartphone revolution by making the best devices and data plans more affordable.”

Those who wanted to switch to a Samsung 4G smartphone can take advantage of this sale. Good news is that both, new and existing eligible customers of Classic and Value Plans can make use of the deal. The offer dictates that when you sign up a two-year agreement with T-Mobile for any of the devices listed under the offer, the customer is entitled to receive a mail-in rebate for the total out-of-pocket cost on Classic plans and a mail-in rebate for the total out-of-pocket down payment on Value Plans. The devices included in the sale are Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S II, Galaxy S Relay 4G, Galaxy S Blaze 4G, and the Galaxy Exhibit 4G.

For instance, if you buy the flagship Samsung Galaxy S III device on classic plan, you will have to pay $299.99 up front, but you can apply for a $300 mail-in rebate which brings the effective cost down to $0 or FREE. Same holds good for Value Plans, where you will be paying $199.99 for the Samsung Galaxy S III and you will be eligible for a $200 mail-in rebate card. As usual, you are required to pay the remaining balance in 20 monthly installments.

Anyone who is looking to make use of this deal may visit T-Mobile’s web page listed in the ‘Source link’ where you will find more details on the 2-day sale. The offer is great and will give customers a chance to finish off their shopping much ahead of the Black Friday rush. What are your thoughts on this sale? Which phone are you interested in?
