Pioneer AV Receivers Get Updated To Support HTC Connect Wireless Music Streaming

Customers who purchased one of Pioneer’s recent audio video receivers will be ecstatic to hear that the company has released a new firmware update that will allow owners of said device to start putting HTC’s Connect technology to use. In other words, users are now able to use their HTC One X, One X+, One VX or Droid DNA smartphones to wirelessly stream music to their Pioneer receivers through DLNA. A follower over on Talk Android mentions that the HTC Rezound should also work, as it also supports DLNA. This news is coming just a while after Pioneer introduced HTC Connect-compatible wireless speakers.
