Google Introduces New 11.6″ Acer Chromebook Priced At $199

Just a little while ago, Google unveiled a new partnership with Acer to introduce a brand new Chromebook to the table. There’s something rather insane about this Chromebook though — its price tag. The Acer C7 Chromebook is priced at a mere $199, the price of a new Nexus 7 tablet. The new device touts a 11.6-inch display, capable of up to 3.5 hours of battery life. You’ll probably bring a charge with you just about everywhere you go, but if you’re looking for an ultra-portable device, you may have just found your winner.

The C7 Chromebook is going on sale tomorrow where you be able to purchase it directly from Best Buy or the Play Store. The C7 will be coming with a 320GB hard drive along with a free 100GBs of storage space on Google’s cloud service — Google Drive. You can check out more information on the C7 Chromebook from the source link we have posted below the article.

Personally, I think we really need to see a new 15-inch Chromebook priced at $249. 11-inches is great, but sales would start booming if it was a bit larger.

Pricing at $199, will you be picking up the C7 Chromebook when it goes on sale tomorrow? It’s definitely not a bad price, but many claim they would prefer spending the extra $50 on the Samsung Chromebook. I for one agree just because of the sleek design the Samsung Chromebook has.

Awesomely enough, the Nexus 10 and Nexus 4 will also be available starting tomorrow from the Play Store as well!

This week is definitely going to be hard on people’s wallets who have gadget envy!
