Cyber Monday Shopping Guide 2012 — Smartphones

As you know, this has been a really big year for smartphones. We’ve had the widely-popular Samsung Galaxy S III, a new Nexus device and the Galaxy Note II release to name a few. There’s been a lot of people who haven’t been able to afford some of the newer devices, but if you’ve got the money, now’s the time to start shopping for a new smartphone! I would highly suggest taking a look at Amazon Wireless’ options, as they not only have tons of smartphones on sale, but they also have discounted prices on a regular basis. Here’s just a few smartphones that you should look into:

Samsung Galaxy S III White 16GB — On Verizon’s network, this smartphone is on sale for a mere $55 as a new customer, or $79 on an existing account. If you’re trying to add a line instead of just upgrading your phone, you can pay the lower price of $55. Amazon Wireless also has different colors available for you to choose from, so you aren’t just limited to the white version. Although if you choose a larger storage option, the price will go up a bit.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus — If you aren’t wanting to get Google’s new LG-manufactured Nexus 4, you may just want to look into last year’s Galaxy Nexus. Upon registering a new account with Verizon, you can get the device for a mere $0.01, but if you are upgrading a phone you’re going to have to shell out $29. If you want to just add another line to your existing account, you can also go for the cheaper $0.01. While the Galaxy Nexus’ price was bound to discount due to the Nexus 4, these are pretty stark differences from previous pricing.

I wasn’t able to spot any good deals on Amazon Wireless for AT&T, but AT&T is having quite a sale over on their own website (for 24 hours only, there are only 12 hours left). Almost all of their refurbished phones are available to buy for 1-cent, some of their newer phones that are refurbished will set you back by $30 though. You can check out the full list of smartphones on sale by heading over here. I’d personally suggest taking a look at their Galaxy S III, One X and the original Samsung Galaxy Note.

Definitely some good deals from Verizon and AT&T, but lets not leave T-Mobile out of the party. If you’re shopping for a new device, you should check out T-Mobile’s two-day Black Friday sale, as they really have some wicked devices for cheap (e.g. Galaxy Note II for $199). Keep in mind that T-Mobile isn’t just selling smartphones as part of the Black Friday sale, but they are also having a sale on their tablets. You may want to take a look at their Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, as it is a recent addition to the T-Mobile family.

There’s a lot of sales going on for smartphones, so if you’ve been looking to get one but just haven’t had the money, now is the time to start looking!

Happy shopping folks!
