Assassin’s Creed III Anthology In The Pipeline

Assassin’s Creed is a very popular game, and if you haven’t played it before, you are totally missing out on the amazing experience. If you’ve been wanting to get into the series with the recent launch of Assassin’s Creed 3, but want to start from the beginning, you might just be in luck. Ubisoft is planning to release every console game in the Assassin’s Creed series in one big large box, which is also known as an Anthology (which also means that you can get all of the games for a bit cheaper than their regular retail price).

The Assassin’s Creed Anthology Edition will get you the original Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and the recently released Assassin’s Creed 3. Of course, right now the anthology isn’t available yet as Ubisoft, the publisher of the series, has not officially announced the new package yet. Along with all of the games, every DLC released for every title is bundled in the package as well (the missing chapters from Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood’s Leonardo expansion, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations’ block puzzles and multiplayer pack).

Again, Ubisoft has yet to announce the Anthology edition along with even a time frame that we can go on. A price and launch platforms haven’t been announced either. Originally this information came from a listing that appeared on Amazon France thanks to

Eurogamer tried to contact Ubisoft for some details on a possible launch in the United Kingdom. A Ubisoft rep resonded and confirmed the existence of the Assassin’s Creed Anthology and also told Eurogamer that further details would be announced later this week. I’m pretty excited to see all of the details that they will be announcing. I don’t have the entire Assassin’s Creed series unfortunately, and this would be something that I would be really interested in, especially if it could save me a quick buck on all of the DLC and such.

Some rumors are saying that the Assassin’s Creed 3 Season Pass will also be thrown into the Anthology to cover Assassin’s Creed 3’s DLC, which isn’t due until next year. It’ll be interesting to see what they will be putting in the Anthology though. Nevertheless, Ubisoft will be announcing more details later this week, which could include a whole lot of things having to deal with the series as well.

Make sure to come back later this week when Ubisoft does their official announcement of this beautiful package. We’ll be covering it as soon as all the sweet details are released! And who knows, maybe Ubisoft will be announcing more details for the PC launch of the game. Maybe a possible collector’s edition of the game? I really feel like those playing on the PC have been really left out with the lack of Limited Edition’s and Collector Edition’s for the PC.

Would you be interested in an Assassin’s Creed anthology? Would you get it despite having the entire series already? I know I would as it is easily one of my most favorite video game series.
