Top Three Tablets To Look Out For This Holiday Season

There are two companies specifically known to do holiday sales, and those two companies are Samsung Electronics and ASUS. With that said, and Christmas right around the corner, we can only expect some really good deals from these companies, especially with the latest tablet fad. I’ve had a chance to play with the devices I’ve chosen to look out for this holiday season a lot. Especially the Transformer Pad TF300T, as it is the tablet that I decided to purchase. All of that said, enjoy the list!

The Transformer Pad TF300T was really the perfect tablet. It was powerful, had an awesome GPU, and ran most of the exclusive games on the Play Store, such as Auralux. It runs beautifully, and is smooth as butter when playing more advanced games like The Dark Knight Rises or Great Big War Game. Not only is it the perfect gaming tablet, but it is also perfect for doing things such as work or just keeping up your general productivity levels during the day. Adding in the Keyboard dock, it is literally perfect. Normally priced at $399, you should be able to get it cheaper at a few other outlets!

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is no where near as good as the Transformer Pad TF300T, in my opinion, but it still gets the job done and runs fairly well. Android games right now aren’t as demanding as many people think, so even the Galaxy Tab 10.1 will run things like The Dark Knight Rises or Horn easily. The big disappointment is that there is no keyboard dock for this baby. While it is priced extremely well compared to the Transformer Pad, I really think the lack of peripherals for it reduces the overall experience. Of course, for the everyday casual user, this will most likely not matter to them. Normally priced at $349, you can expect this baby to go on sale whether a holiday is coming or not. This is always going on sale.

The Google Nexus 7 is the perfect budget tablet hand crafted by ASUS, creators of the Transformer lineup. Of course, it isn’t sold by ASUS, because it is technically Google’s tablet, just created by ASUS, as it would be a nightmare if Google created their own hardware at this moment with all of the lawsuits and such. For a $199 budget tablet, this is absolutely amazing. It is powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 quad core processor, and even though it lacks an SD card, many have claimed that they do not regret purchasing it one bit. I really doubt that this tablet will be going on sale for the holidays, as it is already priced extremely low for everything it is offering in the package.
