T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 2 officially announced, arriving “in the coming weeks”, Probably Oct. 24th

Many people have been expecting the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for a while now, and it is a relief to learn officially that it is coming to T-Mobile within a couple of weeks, most likely this month.  There had been rumors for the past couple of weeks that the 5.5 incher would be coming to T-Mobile but nothing had been confirmed yet.  Now it is official, if you are one of the people who have been waiting for it, you will have it soon.

The Galaxy Note 2 has been shipping globally for a couple of weeks now and its entry into the US market, particularly on T-Mo is overdue.  T-Mobile in a press release was non-committal on the date but rumor has it that it is planning a launch and probably initial shipment will be October 24th, just two weeks from today.  That is just speculation for now though, until T-Mo confirms the date.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is a high end phablet that has been causing a lot of commotion in the smartphone and mini-tablet market given that it is a hybrid of the two.  Thanks to its amazing processing capabilities and impressive specifications, the phablet has gained a lot of popularity since it was launched late last month.  At the moment, it could as well pass as the phablet to beat on the Android platform at the moment.

T-Mobile markets the tablet as an entertainment and productivity gadget best for both office and home use.  According to Brad Duea, the senior vice president of product management at T-Mobile, the Samsung Galaxy Note II is currently the latest device on T-Mo’s lineup that will take the place of many standalone devices that consumers use today.

If you have no idea what the specs of the phablet are, then here is an overview of the specs.  The phablet will be available nationwide in Marble White and Titanium Gray colors.  If you are not on T-Mobile, then have no worries because it will just be a matter of weeks before the phablet is available on U.S. Cellular, Verizon, AT&T and Sprint.
