Sprint’s LG Mach Specs Revealed

Sprint is releasing a new mid-range device this year that will have support for its 4G LTE network. Called the LG Mach, the device is equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out below the phone’s display. Meanwhile, the display, a WVGA touch screen, spans 4 inches, and sports a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.

The LG Mach runs on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor under the hood and packs 1GB RAM. Its storage is provided by an 8GB eMMC, which may get a boost from a built-in microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB of extra user memory.

The Mach’s connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. Furthermore, it has support for a 3G/4G Hotspot that can provide simultaneous access to as many as eight devices that support Wi-Fi connectivity.

It also comes with pre-installed Google Mobile wireless services such as Youtube, Gmail, Google Search, Google Calendar, Google Talk, Google Maps for Android and Voice Search. Users are also given access to the Google Play Store, where they can choose from 600,000 apps, and millions of other content such as books, films, and music.

Fuelling the handset is a 1700 mAh Lithium-Ion battery that offers as much as 9 hours 30 minutes of talk time.

In the entertainment department, the phone is equipped with a 5-megapixel main camera at its rear with built-in flash and a video recording capability. This is complemented by a front-facing 3.0-megapixel VGA secondary camera. The device also supports recording and playback of videos in 1080p High Definition. Also onboard is a 3.5mm stereo audio jack.

One special feature is Time Catch Shot, which lets users capture several images and then select the best shot from among these choices.

Users will also find LG QuickMemo, an easy way to lend a personal touch to messages. The same feature also enables commenting on various kinds of media and online content.

There is also a feature called SprintID that allows for the customization of one’s device through apps, widgets, and other content.

The LG Mach boasts of being eco-friendly, as well. It comes with a ULE Platinum Certification and comes with a charger that has a .01W no-load consumption rating, permitting users to use energy wisely.

This phone measures 4.64 x 2.56 x 0.48 inches and weighs 5.92 ounces.
