There has been some really awesome news released for users of the T-Mobile carrier. If you were wanting some seriously concrete and possibly set in stone evidence, Talk Android has reported that according to TmoNews, they have been able to come across a new screen shot of an internet T-Mobile document or “memo” that has entirely outlined their plats for the release of Samsung’s new Galaxy Note II. According to TmoNews, the unofficial T-Mobile blog, it’s beginning to look like we will be seeing the Samsung Galaxy Note II behemoth in stores on October 24th. This could just be a coincidence, but that date also happens to hold another Samsung event in New York, which has led me to believe that this might just be an announcement for T-Mobile. The memo goes further on to say that the handset will be coming in two other colors — white and gray, which you could probably of guessed. Of course, you should really treat this as a rumor and take it with a grain of salt, even though the evidence looks extremely legit.
To give you a quick refresher on this handset, the Galaxy Note II on T-Mobile’s network will be the first of the devices to begin shipping with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean straight out of its packaging, along with this being Samsung’s first ever quad core device. The handset will also be shipping with Samsung’s famed TouchWiz interface that is gloriously sitting on top of Android 4.1 to go along with the beautiful 5.5 inch Super AMOLED HD 1280 x 720 display. It’s going to be really crisp, and might even be more clear and crisp than what the iPhone 5’s screen has to offer. The Samsung Galaxy Note II also boasts of a whopping 1.6GHz processor along with a nice 2GB of RAM. With all of these insanely sexy specifications in the handset, we should be hoping that the battery in the Note II will be able to keep up with all of the crazy power in it.
According to what the screen shot has to say, we should be seeing a lot more information in a couple of days when October 15th comes around. With that said, make sure to stay tuned, as there will definitely be some more really exciting news to see for you T-Mobile users for sure. Still, hopefully this won’t be a mini teaser like the original Galaxy Note was. It’s almost guaranteed that the Galaxy Note II will be on the shelves longer, but who knows what trickery T-Mobile will want to play on everyone.
Are you excited that the Galaxy Note II will (possibly) finally be coming over to the T-Mobile network? Unlimited data on top of a high end handset like the Galaxy Note II has to be extremely awesome. Now, if only we could get AT&T and Verizon to go that route. Highly unlikely, but I can hope right?
Will you be picking up a Galaxy Note II on the T-Mobile network when it releases later this month?
