Consumers may now purchase the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 from the Canada-based wireless telecommunications company Mobilicity on a pre-order basis. The Jelly Bean device will arrive this coming October 30. Mobilicity joins other companies like Bell, Rogers, Videotron, SaskTel, and WIND in offering the phablet in said country.
To entice consumers to buy from them, Mobilicity has thrown in a promo. According to the e-mail that consumers receive upon pre-ordering, they may be able to save $50 if they are “one of the first 1,000 people to purchase and activate your Samsung Galaxy Note II smartphone on Mobilicity’s unlimited network and sign up for automatic monthly payments by November 6, 2012.” The offer is open to new or existing consumers, provided that they avail of Mobilicity’s automatic monthly payment, are able to get the device from Mobilicity and activate it within the span of seven days beginning from the time they receive a notice from the company, and have a pre-order confirmation number. The same number will also enable customers to keep up-to-date with information about the special offer. More details regarding the promo will be sent later this month.
Mobilicity also states that is a limited time offer, is offered only while supplies last, and comes with limitations in availing of it along with other promotions from the company.
To review, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is packed with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display that is 0.2 inches larger than the display found on its predecessor. Overall, it is also slightly thinner than the original Galaxy Note. The phablet likewise has a quad-core Exynos processor woth a clock speed of 1.6 GHz, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, 2GB of RAM, and a main camera with an 8-megapixel sensor. It also features an enhanced S Pen, which offers new features like Air View and Quick Commands. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes in two colors: Titanium Grey and Marble White.
