Have you ever wanted personal computer that is even smaller than your smart phone? Let’s say, the size of your pen drive, and then unfolds to a big HDMI enabled TV. Well, this is not some kind of dream or a concept device. I am talking about the UG007 Android based personal computer. Yes, the pen drive like device that you can see in the image above is a personal computer that runs on Android’s latest version, Android 4.1, also known as Jelly Bean.
The trend to make Android more than just a smart phone or a tablet operating system is catching momentum these days, and that is happening for the good for human beings. This little personal computer has an HDMI port, and not a USB port. So you can plug it in directly to your HDMI port equipped TV and get smarted. That will turn your big screen TV into an Android tablet, minus the touch screen of course. You can pair a keyboard and a mouse using the built in Bluetooth in the UG007 PC.
So how good is the UG007 as a performer? Well, inside that small plastic case, there is a 1.2Hz dual-core Rockchip RK3066 doing all the hard work. And for graphics performance, the UG007 PC features a Mali 400 GPU. That must be good enough. On the connectivity front, the UG007 personal computer offers you Bluetooth, Wi Fi, and external 3G support. The tiny personal computer also has a USB 2.0 port so that you can plug in your pen drives or card readers for external storage.
Speaking storage spaces, the UG007 personal computer offers you 8 GB of on board storage with 1 GB of RAM. If you need more storage space, you can either use the microSD card slot in the machine, or get a pen drive. The only drawback of this little amazing this, that some people believe, is that it is running on a Rockchip. Well, for just $80, what else can you expect?
