There are so many Android smartphones being released every month nowadays that you can easily be spoilt of choice as to which phone to go for. However, if what you are looking is a smartphone with a physical QWERTY keyboard, then you will have an easy time picking which phone to go for because not so many of them are released these days. One of the newest Android smartphones with a physical QWERTY slide-out keyboard set to come soon to Sprint is LG’s Mach. What we already know is that the phone will be released via Sprint, but the exact specs are still a rumor, though from a very reliable source.
The LG Mach is mid-range Android smartphone that boasts of 1.2 GHz dual core Qualcomm processor and 1 GB of RAM. It is perfect for an entry-level customer who seeks a phone that is just powerful enough for almost any traditional tasks – including browsing the net, playing graphic games, reading and replying to emails and most conveniently, texting. It is great that the phone also has a 4G LTE capability, buyers will be able to stream even live HD videos right on the phone, that is if they have the right data plan.
A few specs of the LG Mach have leaked and we now know that the slider phone comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (I know, shouldn’t all phones being released at this time come with Jelly Bean!), a 4 inch WVGA touchscreen display and has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB onboard memory.
Like most other mid-range Android phones today, Mach also comes with Wireless WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity capability, a rear 5 Megapixels and front 0.3 Megapixels cameras and a ton of productivity programs including LG QuickMemo to easily and fast personalize and share messages and photos. If you are a music lover, you will appreciate that this phone comes with a 3.5 inch stereo headset jack and despite the slider keyboard, it the phone is just 0.48 inches thick and weighs only 5.92 ounces.
What is your take on the LG Mach and slider Android smartphones in general? Would you go for one if the price and the specs were right? The exact date of release of the Mach has not been announced by Sprint or LG yet but a very reliable source hints that the phone will hit the stores probably next month.
