Kindle Fire HD Ad Slams Apple’s New iPad Mini

Although a lot of the iPad Mini models have already sold out, Amazon’s Kindle Fire HD sales have skyrocketed soon after the announcement of the iPad Mini. With Amazon’s sales tripling, they continue to push their fight against Apple by bemoaning the newly announced on the front page of their website. It’s not surprising that Amazon would try and take advantage of the iPad Mini’s disappointing hardware compared to what we’ve seen in the Kindle Fire HD. The iPad Mini is a formidable competitor, but Amazon has pointed out how much better the Kindle Fire HD is by comparing some of the most notable features on the Kindle Fire HD and then throwing them against the iPad Mini’s features. With the news of this ad making its rounds, there is no doubt that Amazon’s sales are going to skyrocket again as consumers see the difference between the two devices on the most popular online shopping retailer. One benefit that Amazon has against Apple that I think we can all agree on is the fact that Amazon isn’t sold out of Kindle Fire HD’s while Apple is sold out of nearly all of their iPad Mini’s. Although, the most attractive feature between these two beastly devices is the price point. Amazon’s $199 price tag looks much more appealing than Apple’s $329 price tag.

On a more unrelated note, Apple’s ecosystem has been great throughout the years, but Amazon is swiftly catching up with the Cupertino giant by offering their very own expansive catalog of movies, books, games, music and much, much more. While the Kindle Fire HD is a big deal right now, surely a lot of Amazon’s customers are sitting back and waiting for the release of Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ on November 20th. Not only that, but there are a lot of eyes on the delayed announcement of the Samsung Nexus 10. November is definitely going to be an interesting month with the possible release of the Nexus 10, a 32GB Nexus 7 and the Kindle Fire HD 8.9″. With ads like Amazon has so kindly displayed as well, Apple may find themselves having a hard time competing with all of these new gadgets coming out.

Nevertheless, Apple’s iPad Mini is going to be a decent competitor against the Kindle Fire HD, but who knows how things are going to work against their upcoming Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ device? Man, this holiday season is going to be extremely expensive for a lot of us.
