Four Devices That Are Perfect Stocking Stuffers

Looking to get someone in your Family a new handset for the holidays? There’s a few ones that have just recently came out that is, I would say, perfect to be fit in a stocking. Before starting off, I do want to mention that the iPhone 5 is on my list for those that like the device but also want some comparisons to look at. With that said, let’s get started with the list.

First off, the Galaxy S III is perfect to get put in a stocking. It’s a little on the expensive side, but when the Galaxy Note II releases pretty soon here, we should be seeing a drastic price drop, which will be a very nice and possibly a deciding factor as to what goes into stockings this year. The device is packed with some awesome specs, so if you decide to pay for this baby with a contract, you’ll definitely be getting it for fairly cheap, thus making it a perfect for a stocking.

The iPhone 5 is new to Apple’s arsenal of handsets, as you probably know. It has sold tons of units, 2+ million to be exact, and if whoever you are getting an iPhone for already has an iPhone, this is perfect for them. There’s not a whole lot of new things in the iPhone, but you’ll find that it’s a little lighter and has a larger screen. Now, why is this a good device for whoever you are buying it for? Well, it’s a pretty good device, and if you are buying it for someone who already owns an iPhone, they will really like it because it will be easy to get to know as the interface and overall design is familiar to them. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but may be worth it.

The Motorola DROID RAZR M is one of Motorola’s most recent devices that is actually really good. Motorola has had some recent issues with customers due to the lack of unlocking bootloaders and supplying Ice Cream Sandwich to certain devices after promising the update. Aside from that though, some of their new devices are entirely worth picking up, and the DROID RAZR M is one of them.

The Motorola Atrix 2 is an older device in Motorola’s arsenal, but is both cheap and works wonderfully. If you are looking to get someone a fairly good phone that isn’t to crazy in terms of hardware, the Atrix 2 is a perfect fit,  not to mention that it just received a new update to Ice Cream Sandwich as well.

Those are the four devices that I would look into for “stocking stuffers” this holiday season, as they are relatively cheap on-contract, are some pretty good devices and there will surely be some holiday season sales coming from various carriers. Anyway, if you can, I would highly suggest either the Galaxy S III or DROID RAZR M, as they are both fairly new devices and both companies have a fairly good reputation for being good at keeping support going for their devices.
