Xtreamer Teasing 5 Inch Android Smartphone, Tries to Reinvent Mobile Pricing

Xtreamer is a manufacturer that is very well known for producing some really good quality media streaming boxes. The company  has unleashed a rather cool trailer or “teaser video” showing of its newest device they’ve been working on: a 5 inch Android based smartphone. Is this out of their league? No way. From the teaser video they’ve released, the device is supposed to be something of a “revolution,” offering some cool features like dual SIM slots, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a pretty fantastic battery and support for multilingual software. That isn’t even the beginning of it all though. The AiKi will also be supporting ClockWorkMod-based updates and will ship with root permissions enable by default. Who does that? I mean really? These guys are awesome just by including the latter feature. The company gave no word on availability of the device, though the company has said in the video that they plan to “reinvent mobile pricing,” which sounds like a fairly difficult task.

For the full introduction from Xtreamer, I highly suggest taking a look at their teaser video. Take a look:

What do you think? The handset looks very snazzy, and based on official specifications, I think I wouldn’t mind giving this handset a test run. Who knows though, if they plan on reinventing mobile pricing, I have my own speculations that the handset may not be all its cracked up to be. Again, that’s speculation and that could be entirely wrong. We’ll just see how it all works out when the new handset releases.
