Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE with 1.2GHz CPU Coming to Sprint Tomorrow for $100

Starting tomorrow Sunday, you can get the newly released Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE from Sprint for just $99.99 after a $50 mail in rebate but with a two year contract.  This new 4 incher is a powerful mid-range smartphone with 4G capability, meaning that you will be able to access the high speed LTE network speeds provided by Sprint.  According to Sprint and Samsung, the $100 price tag is the best deal you can get anywhere for such a phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Victory is another addition to the Samsung Galaxy family which is currently the most dominant name in the industry.  The phone sports a 4 inch touchscreen display, a 1.2 GHz dual core processor and will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.  Neither Sprint nor Samsung mentioned anything about updating the operating system to Android jelly Bean but we hope that Samsung will do so soon as they have been doing with most of their Android smartphones.

The high end premium features of the Galaxy Victory should attract the mass market but the smartphone market is not as predictable as it used to be, thanks to the stiff competition of the numerous mid-range and high-end Android smartphones entering the market especially over the last 9 months.  One of the best things about this phone though is the attractive $100 price.  There are of course the other features that come standard with Android smartphones today including access to Google Play Store to download thousands of applications and the ease in personalizing the phone to suit the user’s needs.  The phone also has the handy S Voice to carry out searches and basic device control, the many connectivity features to share data, images, documents, music and videos.

Users with Sprint’s 4G access will benefit the most from the LTE data capability of the phone.  At the moment, Sprint has 4G in 19 cities and the company is setting up the infrastructure to extend the network to over 100 cities all over the country over the next couple of months.
