Tech enthusiasts and Android lovers in the UK who are planning to purchase Samsung Galaxy Note II can now reserve their device as a handful of retailers are now accepting pre-orders. Expectedly, the price is a little bit higher especially now that the dust hasn’t settled down yet. Analysts, however, expect that Galaxy Note II will drop its price when people’s attention will be diverted by Apple iPhone 5.
This smartphone-tablet hybrid (or “phablet” as what others may call it) will come in 2 colors, titanium grey and marble white, and there will be three variations for each color—16GB, 32GB and 64GB. People who might want to have their device reserved may still have to wait until mid-October with specific release date not yet disclosed.
Clove Technology lists Galaxy Note II 16GB for £546 but hasn’t put prices for 32GB and 64GB variations but as always, it offers the SIM-free version. The price may seem a bit steep but we have already expecting that. Once the euphoria passes, we can surely see the prices falling down.
Another retailer that also listed Galaxy Note II on its website is Expansys. While it specifically listed the 16GB, marble white unit for pre-order, it seems ironic since there is no price posted yet. Nevertheless, it’s good to know they offer pre-orders.
Mobi City is also among the first few retailers to list Galaxy Note 2 for reserve. It will also be offering the SIM-free version at a price amounting to £544.95 inclusive of VAT. Among other things that the retailer emphasized is its 2-year warranty that it usually offers for most of its device offerings.
More often, pre-orders come a day or two prior to the official release date. For now, there are no retailers in the U.S. that offer pre-orders for this device but it is expected Amazon will.
