If you are a fan of the LG Optimus Vu, you will love to know that the company is all set to release the next edition of the smart phone very soon. The specs of the new LG Optimus Vu II has been leaked online just today, and by the looks of the it, there seems to be no huge changes. This could be a let down to most users who have been expecting some really change in the device.
To be specific, the only upgrades to the smart phone are a faster Qualcomm 8960 dual-core 1.5GHz processor, and a bigger RAM space of 2 GB. Other specs of the device remain same. The display is a 1080 x 768 pixels resolution IPS display, 8 mega pixels rear facing camera, 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera, Wi Fi, GPS, NFC, and DLNA connectivity.
If you are big on connectivity options, Bluetooth 4.0 upgrade to the smart phone can also be considered as a plus, with Wi Fi direct also in the box. But I do not really think majority of the users will consider this as any useful update.
Apart from this, those of you who have been expecting Android 4.1, or Jelly Bean to be pre installed on this are going to be angry, because Android 4.0, also known as Ice Cream Sandwich, still remains the operating system on the smart phone. The company has not said anything about the update to Jelly Bean as well. That is a bit disappointing.
All these specs have been leaked online today, and there is still no official word on this from the company. So believing this can also mean that you are getting ahead of yourself. The best thing to do is to wait until the company comes out with the official announcement with the complete change log.
