International Samsung Galaxy S III Kernel Code Released

We’re getting really close to seeing some of the Samsung Galaxy S III LTE models who up with Jelly Bean, and we’re also seeing small samples about what we can expect in this handset. In anticipation of the release of this new variant (GT-i9305) of the smartphone, Samsung Electronics has decided that they would release the Jelly Bean kernel code. If you haven’t seen the news on this before, the GT-i9305 model is the European LTE device that will be featuring a new quad core Exynos chip with LTE connectivity on the handset. This differs from a lot of the existing LTE models that are powered by the dual core Snapdragon S4 chip. I’m actually really excited to see a quad core chip in the Samsung Galaxy S III.

Those of you that are planning on purchasing this new Galaxy S III model will now be able to build custom JB ROMs with the first tools releasing. Check out the source link below to grab the kernel and such! It’s a 195MB download, so it should only take a couple of minutes for you to grab it, if not seconds.

Let the custom Jelly Bean ROMs begin.
