White EVO 4G LTE Coming on July 15th

A parcel of document first posted by Techno Buffalo suggests that the White HTC EVO 4G LTE will become available on July 15th for $199.99. This is after several rumors suggesting that US carrier Sprint Nextel is planning on releasing the light-colored variant of its LTE-capable handset, although this has never been confirmed by the carrier yet.

In May, both Sprint and HTC have to face a delay in the release of the first version of EVO 4G LTE due to Apple’s patent claims. Along with One X, this handset was detained by customs and was banned to go on sale in the United States. Fortunately, latest developments were in favor of the Taiwanese manufacturer to the delight of Sprint which has started selling the smartphone together with HTC’s newest flagship.

The document was a leak so there is no other information relating to the existence of White Evo but tech enthusiasts believe it would still be the same device under the hood. Experts and analysts say that both Sprint and HTC has to do extensive marketing strategies to sell the devices which were delayed for more than a month; this offering will actually give dissatisfied customers, who might have been waiting so long for the release of the device, another option.

HTC EVO 4G LTE comes with Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon chipset, a dual-core krait clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 225 graphics processor. There are not many notable features that come with this handset, only an assurance that owners can surf with more than satisfying speed. Other features of this device include 4.7 inches Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen that offer a good resolution as high as 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.

A 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory were added to this handset to ensure better performance and maximize the capabilities of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich mobile operating system. On top of stock ICS, HTC Sense UI v4.0 is an added commodity which is common for new HTC high-end devices. But let’s wait for more details Sprint may release in the following days.
