Ubisoft Uplay comes to Windows Phone

With the launch of the game, Assassin’s Creed II back in 2009, Ubisoft established the Uplay network. Uplay can be activated either in-game or via the Uplay website. Basically, Uplay enables players to connect with other gamers in Uplay enabled games. Also, the gamers can gain rewards based on their accomplishments, which is called “Actions” within a Uplay enabled games.

With Windows Phone devices gaining a lot of attention these days, Ubisoft has decided to release their popular Uplay companion app for Windows Phone devices. Uplay supplies exclusive services and free content to gamers playing titles from Ubisoft.
Let’s take a sneak peek into what the app has to offer:

It doesn’t matter if you’re a hardcore gamer or an occasional one, Uplay will reward you for playing games you love.

UPLAY WIN – It basically helps you enjoy the game and win. It lets you redeem some great free content that’s on offer, like extra weapons, additional maps, or new characters, depending on the game title you’re playing.

UPLAY GAMES – This section has some guidance, tips and know how’s for you to enjoy the game to the fullest. The Games section gives you guidance and tips to enjoy Ubisoft games at their best.

UPLAY PROFILE – This tab lets you manage your Uplay Profile. You can view the Actions, Games, Rewards, Unit Balance and others relevant stuff.

UPLAY SHOP – It’s a marketplace for all the Ubisoft mobile content. The content is readily available for download and you can play the best games Ubisoft has on offer for your device.

UPLAY FRIENDS – This feature is yet to come and will be out sometime down the road. This feature, when released, will allow the user to connect with other Uplay Friends by sharing your own content and keeping a track of friend’s activity.
