Samsung Galaxy S III Buy One Get One Free at T-Mobile

T-Mobile U.S has announced a new promotional “Buy One Get One Free” offer also known as BOGO for the [easyazon-link asin=”B00894K248″ locale=”us”]Samsung Galaxy S III[/easyazon-link] along with a bunch of other Samsung devices. The offer was revealed today as the Galaxy S III is just beginning to pick up pace in the country. The offer is also valid on the Galaxy S II, the Galaxy S Blaze 4G, the Galaxy Exhibit 4G and the Galaxy Tab 10.1. It’s not as simple as it sounds though. The customer will have to pay for both the devices up ahead, but the amount will be later reimbursed through a rebate.

It seems like T-Mobile had this promotion planned for a while as the Galaxy S III it sells costs about $80 more than the prices offered by other carriers like Sprint or AT&T, not including the discounts that online retailers offer. So basically, at $279.99 and $329.99 for the 16 and 32GB variants, the Galaxy S III on T-Mobile seems like a viable option. This promotion seems to be T-Mobile’s way to bring back customers who would have shied away initially due to the heavy price tag.

Available in 16 and 32GB variants, the Galaxy S III is highly anticipated on Verizon’s network with T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T already getting the device. But this plan might have just made the decision making a tad harder for new buyers. We’re not sure how long the promotion will last, but it is advised to get it before stocks run out or T-Mobile changes its mind. Maybe the carrier is a little too late with the promotion considering that most retailers are already selling the device for discounted rates with Sprint’s version being the cheapest. But that shouldn’t matter much as the Galaxy S III is not the only device being offered in the promotion. A similar promotion was carried back in May, which included devices like the HTC One S, HTC Radar etc. We love this new promotion, for most of Samsung’s 4G smartphones are included, plus there’s the Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet.
