You can search Calorie Counter’s database for the food you ate for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner and then add it to your list. It’ll then add all the calories you ate and then add it to your profile. If you have a set amount of calories you plan on eating per day it will decrease the amount of calories from that total.
If you don’t know what healthy meals to make for your meal, Calorie Counter has a database full of recipes for you to try and use. This includes sugar free recipes, 300-400 calorie recipes and so on. There are tons of different options such as Low Cholesterol Recipes, Appetizers, Sauces and etc. Another cool thing that Calorie Counter can do is take photos of yourself and submit it into Calorie Counter in case you want to write up a testimonial or not.
If your looking to lose wait or just watch your calorie intake level, this is literally the perfect app to do that. Adding exercises is also a great way to keep track of daily routines. It really is a fast way to keep track of everything, you don’t have to sit down with a notebook and write all your exercise routines, daily caloric intake, recipes and etc. You can do it all right on your phone or tablet and it only takes about 2 minutes.
Calorie Counter also has an option to look at your most eaten foods, in my case, there’s about 30 servings of coffee on their from the past week. I think I may just have an addiction.
It’s also important to note that Calorie Counter syncs your data online, so that means its required to have an account with them to use the app. No, it’s not a payment thing, it’s more of a easy way to add your data to a profile so you can also access all the info you need online if your phone is dead or its currently faster to just user the computer.
The only thing that this app really needs is a way to change portion sizes.
Overall, Calorie Counter by developer, Fatsecret, is a great, fast way to keep track of exercises and nutrition facts of the foods you eat. It’s also a great way to help with a diet if you don’t have the time to start exercising. The quality of the app is great, it’s very stable. I’ve never had it crash on me ever.
There are better Calorie Counters out there, but if you’re wanting to keep it simple, this is the perfect one.
