Samsung Galaxy Nexus Launching On Sprint April 22 For $100 Less

All the rumors pointing to an April 22 launch of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on Sprint have been validated today as Samsung and Sprint have officially announced pricing and availability for the Android 4.0 flagship device as well as the flagship device for Sprint’s 4G/LTE network.

The specs seem to pretty much line up with the Verizon Wireless version of the device. The Galaxy Nexus on Sprint features a 4.65″ HD superAMOLED screen, 1.2ghz dual core processor, 4G/LTE radio, dual cameras and that sleek contour display. Of course it’s a Nexus device so you’ll get that pure Google experience.

Samsung, Sprint and Google have also teamed up to bring you Google Wallet, sanctioned and supported by Sprint. Once you get your Galaxy Nexus from Sprint, sign up for Google Wallet and you’ll get $10 instantly to buy whatever you want. You’ll also get another $40 credit for Google Wallet within three weeks. Wow so that’s $50 free from Google to spend wherever Mastercard PayPass is accepted.

“Galaxy Nexus is a beautifully designed smartphone that combines the Pure Google experience with the speed of Sprint’s upcoming 4G LTE network,” said Fared Adib, vice president – Product Development, Sprint. “It represents the cutting-edge features and applications that customers expect and pairs perfectly with Sprint’s unlimited data plans to let our customers enjoy their wireless experience without worrying about overage charges or throttling.”
