Now we’re well aware that there are review units, demos and beta testers for the HTC One X just about everywhere. AT&T is preparing to launch the device shortly so a lot of people have them already. But today our friends at Androidspin, by way of AndroidCommunity are reporting that CyanogenMod 9 (CM9) has been successfully ported over to HTC’s biggest baddest flasgship phone.
We’ve heard that unfortunately this CM9 port is only for the Nvidia Tegra 3 (quad-core) powered HTC One X, the version available overseas. We’re going to have to wait a little longer for the dual core U.S. version to get CyanogenMod goodness.
This unofficial port comes from TripNDroid Mobile Engineering developer team and it’s available at the Modaco Forums. If you’ve got the international version of the HTC One X go ahead and grab it.
If you’re waiting for the HTC One X to arrive on AT&T it will be here before you know it (May 6th)
