Boost Mobile Picking Up The HTC Evo Design 4G

Not that you’re keeping score but personally, outside of the original HTC Evo 4G, the Evo Design 4G has been my favorite HTC Evo phone to date. Now we’ve got good news to those on Sprint’s prepaid brand Boost Mobile.

While the HTC Evo 3D is headed to Sprint’s Virgin prepaid brand, the Evo Design 4G is expected to land at Boost sometime in the month of June.¬† Pocketnow is reporting that the phone will arrive sometime before the end of the current quarter, beefing up Boost’s already good line of Android devices.

Let us not forget that Boost is also the prepaid carrier that rewards it’s customers with an increasing $5.00 off their unlimited plan for paying your bill on time six times in a row.

More after the break

As a refresher the HTC Evo Design 4G has a 4inch qHD display and a single core 1.2ghz processor. There is also a 5mp camera on the back capable of shooting 720p videos. It comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and of course HTC Sense on top.

If you’re cost conscious and looking for a solid Android device, the HTC Evo Design 4G may be a solid bet.

  1. While it’s certainly respectable as far as prepay phones go, isn’t Wimax a dead technology, with Sprint switching to LTE?
