Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Launches Today On Verizon Wireless

Happy March 1st. We hope you enjoyed your extended remix of February! Since it’s March 1st that means that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 with 4G/LTE arrives and goes on sale at Verizon Wireless corporate stores and retail partners today.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a little pricey. It comes in at $499.99 with a new two year contract. The tablet, which was announced/released at the International Consumer Electronics Show in January, is a great re-up for the original Samsung Galaxy Tab.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 runs honeycomb, has 4G/LTE connectivity, a 1.4ghz dual core processor, 1gb of RAM and a 1280×800 resolution superAMOLED display. In the camera department the rear comes in at 3.2mp and the front facer comes in at 2MP. There is 16gb of internal space and a microSD card slot to boot!

Samsung has said that this tablet will be updated to Ice Cream Sandwich later this year. Samsung announced a 7″ Galaxy Tab 2 this past week which will come out of the box with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, so you may want to hold onto your money for a month or two more.
