Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Visits The FCC Approval Center

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 at Mobile World Congress last month. The new version of  tablet is the next generation of the Samsumg Galaxy Tab 10.1 that was released last year to great fanfare.  The model number is GT-P5100.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1  features a 10.1″ WXVGA display at 1280×800. In the camera department there is a 3 megapixel shooter on the back and a VGA camera on the front. It’s running a 1ghz dual core processor, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

For cellular connectivity the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 was approved with 800mhz and 1900mhz bands which could be an indicator that it’s headed to AT&T in the United States but of course that’s not confirmed just yet.
