Now Almost Every Android Device Can Get The ICS Camera

While 3D seemed to be a flash in the pan for Android users, camera apps are not. As we’ve seen with the recent improvements in HTC’s camera and the added benefits of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich camera, using smartphones over point and shoot cameras is becoming the norm.

Now many people are waiting for Android 4.0 so they can get some of the multi-tasking goodness, Android Beam and the ability to group apps in little bubble folders. If you’re one of those people who’s biggest attraction to the next version of Android was the camera app, you’re in luck.

An Android developer called Moblynx, has repackaged the feature packed Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) camera, added some new effects and uploaded it to the Android Market in two versions, free (ad supported) and premium (just $.99).

More after the break
In addition to the panoramic camera and time lapse camera that comes with the Android 4.0 camera other effects are included as well. You’ll find an easy to use Zoom feature onboard Camera ICS. You’ll also get the flash controls right on the camera itself instead of having to fish for a menu. This is a feature that many have been craving who have screwed up photos because the flash wasn’t set right.

The ultra fast ability to change between still camera and video camera is also available on Camera ICS.  If you want it go and get it here in the Android Market.
