CM 7.2 is not based on Android 4.0 but does incorporate a lot of the features. The version of CM based on Ice Cream Sandwich is CM 9. The 7.2 build brings a lot of changes including wifi fixes, improved calendar and improved external keyboard and mouse behavior. The complete change log is here

This build of CM 7 also brings support for several new devices including; Samsung Galaxy Ace, Samsung Galaxy Mini, Samsung Galaxy Epic, LGE Optimus Black, 3D, Hub, Pro, Sol and One, the Motorola Atrix, Sony Xperia Live, Pro and Active and the Huawei U8150.
