Confirmed: AT&T Confirms Sony Tablet P This Sunday

Yesterday we mentioned that a release date for Sony’s Tablet P was leaked. According to the leak we would see the unique clam shell tablet from Sony on Sunday from AT&T, with a cool bundle option.  AT&T has confirmed that today.

The Tablet P will set you back $399.99 on a new two year agreement. The off contract price is $549.99. Also in yesterday’s screen shot leak it was revealed that you would be able to get $100 off with the purchase of an Xperia Play and a new two year agreement. AT&T has made no mention of that today.

The Tablet P features two 5.5″ screens split right down the middle ala the Kyocera Echo.  The screens can be used together as one large screen or separately, depending on what function you are trying to do. With apps like Youtube for instance you can have a Youtube navigation screen on the bottom and the video play on the top. Or you can elect to use the combined 10.1″ of real estate as one single screen.

The Tablet P runs on a 1ghz dual core processor with 1gb of RAM. It has a 5 megapixel camera on the back and 6gb of internal memory. It’s also PlayStation certified.
