And Now… Ice Cream Sandwich Ported To The Nokia N9

Nokia designed a great phone in the N9. The hardware is strong and it’s the kind of smartphone that many Android owners would love to have. The problem is the fact that Nokia doesn’t make Android phones. Of course that won’t stop the Android army.

A developer named Alexey Roslyakov has ported Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich over to the Nokia N9. It’s admittedly still in an alpha stage with lots of bugs to get worked out, but once it does the N9 running ICS will be a forced to be reckoned with.

The N9 has already seen previous ports of Android running on it. Developers that are working on the Android to N9 project are hoping to develop a dual boot system with Meego and Android.
