Substantiated Rumor: Samsung To Announce 2ghz Galaxy Tab At Mobile World Congress

Android and me is reporting a good rumor out of Samsung Mobile today and that is that the South Korean worldwide electronics giant is going to debut a 2ghz Galaxy Tab at Mobile World Congress.

According to Taylor Wimberly, founder and editor at Samsung will debut a Galaxy Tab with a 2ghz Exynos 5250 processor and have a display larger than 10 inches with a 2560×1600 resolution, and run Ice Cream Sandwich.

We already know that Samsung has the new Exonys processor in the works in fact Wimberly has even seen a prototype of the tablet running the Exynos processor with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The rumors legs get longer as it seems a similar tablet was reported on by BGR’s Jonathan Geller and German site Tab Tech.¬† As for us we definitely believe the rumor, word on the street is that Wimberly and Androidandme have a source so close to Samsung that they’d marry it.

Click on over to Androidandme for Wimberly’s complete argument which makes a lot of sense.
