It’s funny that last year as we headed into CES we were anxiously awaiting the announcement of the LG Revolution, one of four new Android handsets headed to Verizon’s 4G LTE network. Now we are hearing by way of Phandroid that the the LG Revolution has reached the end of the line.
Along with the LG Revolution, the barely six month old Droid 3 is being shown the door as well. The Motorola Droid 3 will be replaced by the Droid 4 which we are expecting to see within the next 8 weeks.
The LG Revolution doesn’t have an official replacement yet but the recently discovered LG Connect 4G could also be heading the way of big red as well.
We’ll see if an LG replacement is announced at CES in just about a week.
