HTC To Refresh Their Mid-Range Line Up With Primo

With CES firmly two weeks behind us the MWC rumor trains running at full steam ahead. Of course most of these rumors are based on at least an ounce, or a few ounces of truth, as most OEM’s want the momentum behind them as we go into the mobile event of the year. Pocketnow is reporting today that in addition to the top tier devices HTC will be showing at MWC, they’ve got a solid mid-ranger ready for 2012.

The HTC Primo is believed to be a 1ghz dual core smartphone running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC’s Sense 4.0 on top. It also has 512mb of RAM and a 5 mega pixel camera. The camera is believed to have a great lens for low light.

Just 9 months ago the specs of this Android phone may have been viewed as “superphone” but not with the quad-core 1.5ghz processors we’re expecting in just 5 weeks at Mobile World Congress.
