Google Expands Google Offers To Charlotte, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Tampa & San Antonio

Lookout Groupon, Google has announced that Google Offers has expanded to five more cities. Google’s location based discount service, similar to Groupon and Facebook’s localized offers has now rolled out in Charlotte, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Tampa and San Antonio.

With these five new cities that brings the grand total of Google Offers cities to 38. Google debuted their Google Offers product in June of 2011, officially kicking it off at the All Things D conference when Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt and Google’s VP of Commerce Stephanie Tilenius unveiled the new product.¬† The first city to go live was Portland Oregon.

Google Offers builds upon it’s local business listings by offering hot discount deals to local searches and folks that use Google Places. Google Offers also has it’s own mobile app in the Android Market.

Google secured some great offers in the five new cities which are:

Kansas City: $5 for $10 worth of food at Arthur Bryant’s Barbecue Restaurant

Milwaukee: $5 for $12 for burgers, brews and more at Sobleman’s Pub & Grill

San Antonio: $10 for $20 towards fine sandwiches, pasta, steaks and more at Liberty Bar

Tampa: $5 for $10 of Greek cuisine at Louis Pappas Market Cafe

Charlotte: $11 for beer tasting, growler bottle, souvenir glass, & soft pretzel at the Old Mecklenburg Brewery
