We’ve personally witnessed people lining up for an Android device at big red. The biggest we’ve seen was a midnight release party for the Motorola Droid X at the Verizon Wireless store in Columbia Maryland, but according to reports on Twitter and over at Phandroid’s, Android Forums, people are lining up everywhere for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

As our buddy Kevin at Phandroid asked, when was the last time people lined up for a phone at Verizon? iPhone maybe (iphone 4S at some locations but not original iPhone 4), Droid Bionic (nope), Droid Razr (nope)?

Excitement is in the air today as people everywhere are lining up for their Galaxy Nexus, are you getting one today? Are you already in line? Let us know in comments.
