Quad Core HTC Ville Makes A Little More Sense Right?

A while back the first quad-core Android phone supposedly leaked out. That phone was dubbed the HTC Edge.

The quad-core HTC Edge was said to be sporting an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor much like the Asus Transformer Prime Android tablet. Now we could be wrong but we don’t think we are. The reason that the HTC Edge didn’t make sense was because HTC has never used Nvidia processors. They have a very very tight relationship with Qualcomm.

More after the break

The HTC Ville, is said to be coming out in early 2012 and this time this phone is believed to be running on Qualcomm’s new quad-core S4 processor, indeed that’s much more likely.

In addition to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.5ghz quad-core S4 processor, it also features a 4.3″ superAMOLED screen with qHD resolution. The camera on the rear is believed to be an 8 megapixel 1080p capable camera similar to those on the latest round of HTC Android phones.

The Ville is also supposed to be thin, real thin, like 8.49mm thin. Oh and the operating system is believed to be Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

This could be one of HTC’s big CES phones in January, stay tuned.
