Nook Tablet Arrives Early Too?

Monday we reported that Amazon Kindle Fire tablets were shipping a day before their scheduled shipping data of November 15th. Now, according to Phandroid and Engadget, Barnes & Noble has started selling their new device in some Barnes & Noble stores.

The Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet retails for $249 and has many of the same features as the Amazon Kindle Fire. It’s the follow up to the original Nook Color, which in itself was a tablet.

The Nook Tablet is supposed to start shipping Friday. We’re unclear as to whether the tablets at Barnes & Noble stores are merely display models or they’re actually selling them through. If you were able to pick up a Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet let us know below.
