Geico Adds New App To Android Market

The 15 minute insurance company Geico has added a new “Geico App” to the Android Market. The Geico App compliments the Geico Glove Box app and adds more practical functionality to the app for Geico customers.

“Based on customer feedback, we took all of our customer’s favorite things about GEICO and put them into a mobile app,” says Steve Smith, GEICO assistant vice president for information technology. “The new GEICO App enhances our mobile capabilities and provides our current and potential customers with the ability to complete a multitude of functions using their mobile device.”

More after the break
The new Geico app allows customers to download digital insurance cards, save and view them on their device. It also features a step by step interactive accident guide to make sure that everything that an insurance adjustor would need would be preserved. It also has your favorite Geico characters like the world famous Australian gecko.
