The Galaxy Nexus, Google’s next iteration of its popular Nexus line, has been the talk of the town lately, and for good reason. The device really wowed Android fans across the globe, with its superior hardware and it being the first device to come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board.
The device is launching globally on November 17, so that was a date many had picked out for its US launch, but the Verizon roadmap below tells a different story. According to the device launch list the DROID Razr launches the 11th, the HTC Rezound launches the 14th, and the Galaxy Nexus is available online only on November 21. As far as we know the device won’t be exclusive to Verizon, but they are the only carrier we are seeing some real launch evidence from. The Galaxy Nexus may come the 21st, or it may not, but its coming, and hopefully sooner than later. A Motorola 8″, and a Motorola 10″ tablet are supposed to come the 30th, and while it seems odd Verizon isn’t launching the Galaxy Nexus on a Thursday as is their standard, they’re launching the Rezound on a Monday as well. Stay tuned to TheDroidGuy for more info on the Galaxy Nexus launch, and we’ll be sure to keep you covered.
