Waffle House Gets Scattered Covered And Diced On Android

I don’t know how we could have missed this (actually I do but)… We’ve got great news to report out of Norcross Georgia. It seems the Waffle House has entered into the mobile app space as of today.

Waffle House announced that there is now a Waffle House locator app in the iPhone app store and the Android market.  While finding the Waffle House is the most important part of the app it also links to Waffle House’s Facebook page, Twitter page and their recently launched mobile website.

More after the break
There is also a place to sign up for Waffle House regulars section. Waffle House sends out monthly coupons typically involving free food to those who have signed up for their regulars club.

“The apps are really an extension of the most popular page on our website, the restaurant locator,” says Katherine Wrobleski, Waffle House Social Media Specialist. “Our regulars are the best, and they already know what they like to eat.  We just need to help them get to their favorite restaurant!”

Waffle House actually introduced their app to iPhone back in June and added the Android app on October 10th

“After the iPhone app launch, we saw there was a demand for an Android app, and we never want to disappoint our regulars, so we got to work on developing a similar app for the Android community,” says Wrobleski.

Although it doesn’t have the order ahead aspect yet like the Five Guys app, just knowing that the Waffle House has an app brings a smile to my face.
