T-Mobile Officially Announces Two More Android Tablets

T-Mobile has officially announced two new 4G Android tablets that will both have Honeycomb, Android 3.2 and access to T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network.

The first is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.  The Galaxy Tab 10.1 was originally released as a wifi only tablet back in June at a big party in New York City at Best Buy. They’ve since released a 4G/LTE version of Verizon and now they are announcing the HSPA+ (4G) version on T-Mobile.

Aside from the 4G/HSPA+ radio the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1’s specs remain the same. 1.2 pounds, 10.1inch HD display, Android 3.2, all powered of course by a 1ghz dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor. In addition to Touch Wiz and all it’s glory, T-Mobile is adding T-Mobile TV, Qello, Asphalt 6 (demo), Sim City Deluxe demo and more.

More after the break

The other tablet coming to T-Mobile is by Huawei and being branded “T-Mobile Springboard with Google”.  The 7″ tablet features Android 3.2 Honeycomb and access to America’s largest 4G network.

The tablet features a 7 inch multi-touch HD display and a 1.2ghz dual core mobile processor. It also has a 5 megapixel rear facing camera that records video and 720p and a 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera for video chatting on 4G, 3G or Wifi.

The T-Mobile Springboard also features a microSD slot that can be expanded to 32gb.

T-Mobile says that both 4G Android Honeycomb tablets will be available “in time for the holidays”.
