Nexus Prime Caught In The Wild On iPhone 4S Day?

What looks to be the forthcoming Nexus Prime has possible been spotted in the wild on consequently the same day as the iPhone 4S announcement.

The photo above is believed to be the first “caught in the wild” shot of the Nexus Prime, the third in a series of vanilla Android devices targeted to developers. The photo shows 720p HD as well as some soft buttons on the bottom row. We’re not sure why this odd angle, perhaps the other side of the device has a serial number which is not uncommon in “beta” phones.

The Nexus Prime is rumored to be the first device coming to the market with Ice Cream Sandwich, the next version of Android which is supposed to mesh the best things from Honeycomb with the best things from Gingerbread for one robust operating system.

The wait won’t be much longer, we’ll be at CTIA next week to bring you all the goods from Samsung’s unpacked event which puts Google front and center on the invitation.
