HTC Sensation XL Launching In The UK October 24th

HTC had their big event yesterday in London and announced the HTC Sensation XL. This was the device that was originally rumored as the Runnymede and then as the HTC Bass.

The Sensation XL is sporting a 1.5ghz single core processor, and a huge 4.7 inch  480×800 Super LCD touchscreen.  The camera is a whopper. It’s 8 mega pixels with a wide angle lens, back side illumination, dual LED flash and 720p HD video recording. On the front is a 1.3 mega pixel camera for video chatting on the go.

The phone runs Android 2.3 with Sense 3.5 on top. It also has a special integrated Beats by Dre sound profile and at some point later it will be packaged with Beats Solo headphones.

UK wireless dealer Clove has it going on sale on October 24th in the UK. It looks like it will cost £405. It’s unclear as to whether or not this phone is headed stateside.
